Dorothy E. Drummond, 80, Cheshire, Ohio, passed away, Friday, May 14, 2004 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born February 27, 1924 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Ross and Lola Kemper Sexton. She retired from Gallipolis Development Center in the early 1990's following fourteen years of service. She also attended Prospect Baptist Church, Bidwell. Dorothy married Arthur Drummond July 2, 1942 in Gallia County and he preceded her in death November 28, 1975. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Drummond, September 13, 1999, one granddaughter, Mary Ann Ross, one sister, Annie Fillinger and a son-in-law, Harry Holderby She is survived by seven Daughters: Carolyn (Owen) Ross, Gallipolis, Mabel and the late James Copley, Rio Grande, J. Suzy (John) Williams, Gallipolis, Lois and the late Philip O‚Neill, Jackson, Mary ( Dan) Arthur, Gallipolis, Judy (Chester) Ward, Vinton, Bonita (Lee) Taylor, Patriot; Four Sons: William (Kathy) Drummond, Gallipolis, Lonnie Drummond, Cheshire, Roger Drummond, Middleport, Tim (Jeannette) Drummond, Vinton; Four Brothers: Orville (Amy) Sexton, Kerr, Jim Sexton, Bidwell, John Sexton, Bidwell, Ross Sexton Jr., Bidwell; Three Sisters: Betty (Frank) Boyer, Monaca, Pa., Elizabeth "Libby" and the late Otho Mitchell, Bidwell, Peggy Sexton, Bidwell; 21 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2004 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, 6:00-9:00 P.M..
