Michael Dean Casto 49, of Nitro, died Sept. 6, 2004, at Gallipolis, Ohio, after a heart attack.
He was born Dec. 5, 1954, at Sybial, the son of the late Clifton and Reba Woods Casto. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Oley Casto.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher of Verona, Pa., and Stephen of Euclid, Ohio; companion, Barbara Goodnite; stepdaughter, Lisa Goodnite; sisters, Loretta Crihfield of Dalton, Ohio, Lou Summerfield of Eastlake, Ohio, Charlotte Noyes and Linda Casto of Brooksville, Fla.; brothers, Roy D. Casto of Clendenin and Donald L. Casto of Walton; grandchild, Alexandria Levengood.
The service will be noon Friday, Sept. 10, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin with the Rev. Hubert Woods officiating. Burial will be in the Casto Cemetery, Clendenin.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to the funeral.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to them at the visitation for his funeral expenses.
