Milford "Mick" Garfield Gilbert, Sr., 61,Cheshire, passed away on July 31 2006, at his residence . He was formerly employed by James Merry Stone Company, Rodney; Gilbert’s Garage, Cheshire; and Jaymar Coal Company, Cheshire.
Mick was born on November 17, 1944, in Grundy, Virgina, son of the late William Garfield Gilbert and Pearl Thomas Gilbert. He married Alice Morris, September 8, 1963, in Gallipolis, and she survives with two sons and two daughters:

Funeral Services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, August 3, 2006, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Rick Barcus officiating. Pall Bearers include Derek and Milford "Mick" Gilbert, Jr.; James Cavender; Michael, Sean, and Cory Kelley. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio.
