Shirley Ann Mays, 67, Vinton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Chapel Church, Vinton.
Shirley was born July 28, 1939 in Logan, WV. In addition to her mother Molly Mitchell Jamerison, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Mays and a son, Harold Dale Mays.
Surviving are three daughters:
Teresa Lea (Jack) Borden, Vinton, OH
Carolyn Mays, Michigan
Shirley Loujean (Paul) Mays, Thurman, Ohio
and one son: William Glen Collins, Iowa
seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren
two brothers: Douglas (Marilyn) Staples, Mt. Vernon, NY
Nathanial Staples, Charlotteville, VA
one sister: Deanna (Delbert) Evege, Ashland, OH
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Sherman Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan-Bethel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
