1922 - 2007

Reva Mae Fraley, 84, formerly of the Bidwell community, died Friday, January 19, 2007 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Hallie Rutan Murray. She was born in Bidwell and lived most of her life there until she moved to Powell, Ohio to live with her daughter in 2001. She was married May 16, 1947 in Gallipolis to the late William Frederick Fraley “Bill” who preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 1997

Two daughters survive, Arela Karlene Bunke of Powell, Ohio and Karla Marlene (Tom) Davis of Gallipolis. She leaves behind 4 grandchildren: Melissa Davis (Bryan) Workman of Crawfordville, FL; Misti Davis (Jason) Minton, Walker, LA; Stephanie Bunke, Delaware, OH; Kyle (Christine) Bunke, Powell, OH. Also 2 great-grandchildren: Derek Workman, FL; Avery Minton, LA. In addition, she is survived by one brother and family, Charles (Sue) Murray of Gallipolis; nephew, David Murray, Bidwell; 2 nieces, Amanda Murray, Galloway, OH; Terri Murray (Bill) Foster, Bidwell; and grand-niece, Keri Foster, Bidwell. A son-in-law, Dennis Bunke preceded her in death in 1994.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Gallipolis but attended earlier years at the Bidwell United Methodist Church, Bidwell. She formerly belonged to the Bidwell Ivy Club which she leaves behind many dear friends and the Elizabeth Circle of the Grace Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who loved her family and enjoyed working outdoors in her flowers.

Arrangements are being made by McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave., Gallipolis. Calling hours are Sunday 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Monday, 11:00 A.M. at Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio with Rev. Doug Stockton of Grace United Methodist Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bidwell United Methodist Church, c/o Naomi Glassburn, PO Box 39, Bidwell, OH. Condolences can be emailed to www.timeformemory.com/mm.

It was nice to see you again after all these years (at Cremeens' funeral). I am so sorry to hear about your mother. It is such a loss to lose a parent. My heart and prayers are with you.
