Charles “Chuck” F. Howell, 77, Vinton, Ohio, passed away in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, on Saturday, 20, 1006. He was born November 12, 1929, in Sneeds, Florida, son of the late Johnnie and Esther Howell. He was a retired food service manager and a retired school bus driver for the Gallia County School System.
In addition, he was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Rio Grande, Ohio.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Lorraine Bryant Howell; four step-children;
Jerry (Charlotte) Riley, Gallipolis, OH.
Vivian Beal, Frederick, MD.
Steve (Judy) Bryant, Lewistown, PA.
Robin (Randy) Rice, Vinton, OH.
Several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two-half brothers and one half-sister:
Ray Howell, Robert Howell and Earlene Deal.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carrie Howell; two step-daughters, Lisa Houck and Jennifer Blankenship; a step-grand-daughter, Heather
Riley, and a brother, John Howell.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2006, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Heath Jenkins and Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating. Burial will follow in the Waugh Family Cemetery.
