Margaret Katherine "Kathy" Marcum,. 52, Langsville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2007, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born October 25, 1955, in Williamson, WV., daughter of the late Sterl Scott and Queenie Willis Scott. She married David Marcum on Sept. 16, 1973, at Toler, KY. and he survives with three children:

Todd (Amy) Marcum, Vinton, Ohio
Jessica (Michael) Oiler, Langsville, Ohio
Two grandchildren, Tyler and Hailey Marcum; three brothers and two sisterrs:

Roger (Kay) Scott, Ransom, Ky
Timmy (Jo) Scott, Blackberry, Ky
Sharon (Mike) Lucas, Williamson, WV
Angela Daniels, Williamson, WV
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bradley; and a sister, Cindy Reed.
Kathy was a homemaker and her hobbies were cooking and crafts. She was a member of the Vinton Baptist Church where Funeral Services will be held
11:00 AM., Wednesday, with Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating.
Friends may call at the Vinton Baptist Church, 11818 SR 160, Vinton, on Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM. And on Wednesday at the Rogers Funeral Home in Belfry, Ky. On Wednesday after 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at the Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Alley Cemetery near Ransom, Ky.
