Earl Franklin Mayo Sr., 69, Bidwell, Oh., passed away unexpected in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Friday, March 30, 2007. He was born March 2, 1938, in Kerr, Oh., son of the late Edwin Mayo and Sarah Guthrie Mayo. He was a retired Maintenance Mechanic at Ohio Valley Electric and had also been employed at G.D.C., Holzer Hospital, Gallia Co. Sheriff’s Dept. as Special Deputy, and the Gallia County Local Schools where he was a bus driver.
He attended the Fellowship of Faith, Gallipolis.
Earl was married to Vada Evans who survives with their four children:
Herman (Venitta) Mayo, Gallipolis,
Earl Mayo Jr., Carman Mitchell, and Lusher Mayo all of Bidwell.
Three grandchildren:
Whitley Ann Mayo, Danielle A. Mayo, Gallipolis; Jamil Stepney, Bidwell.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM., Wed., in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Bethel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
