Mrs. Cunningham, John and Mark, Jim was a great friend and mentor. We had many great times together whether it was golfing, at work or just out and about. Jim accomplished a lot during his career, and I learned a lot from him. We will certainly miss JC, but our memories will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dear Family and Close other of Jim,
I am dropping you this note to express my condolences for your loss.
Jim was a very special person and just days before I heard the news, he
was on my mind. You see, Jim, me, and Cindy Roush were all born on the
same day and Jim and I were friends in school, especially high school.
I last talked to him 10 years ago when we three turned 40. It seemed
Jim was doing well. Jim introduced me to Blue Oyster Cult and he, I and
Bruce Taylor enjoyed some partying together, something we all did in the
70's. I'll never forget the night when we camped out and I drove my
mom's car a little before I got my license and Jim insisted on getting
out after the 1st block (he was the one with sense!)
When I spoke to Jim when we turned 40, he told me about his career and I
am not surprised of his significant impact there. He was quiet and
technically minded, I suppose like his dad and brothers. We had this in
common as I have also taken the technical route.
Anyway, God bless you and Jim. I know he is in a very good place.
Sincerely,
Andy Fischer

Please accept my sincere condolences. I was suprised to read of Jim's passing! It seems like only a week or so since he called me up to chat about old friends, old times, and new events in his life! I will miss him very much!
I worked at the Eaton Proving Grounds with Jim. We hired in the same year and left the company at about the same time. I'm sure all of our former associates at Eaton will miss "Jimmy C.". Jim was always easy to work with and fun to be around.
So long old friend.

Dear Mark, John & Mrs. Cunningham,
This morning I found out about Jim’s death when I read the “Obituaries” webpage from the online version of The Gallipolis Daily Tribune (www.timeformemory.com/mm). I know it’s hard to have a family member die at such a young age. In the midst of your sorrow from losing Jim, you may find comfort in remembering the many good human qualities Jim displayed throughout his life. Please take care of yourself. I’ll be thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time of life.

I will surely miss Jim. He could always make me smile and laugh when I was having a bad day by singing me a silly song or telling me a story from his amazing childhood. He was also a really good buddy to my little boy, Brendan. I will be sure that the memory of "Uncle Jim" lives on throughout Brendan's childhood. Rest in peace, Jim... I love you.

I worked with Jimmy for about 9 years. Jim was always fun to be around, he always had a crazy story from the past that made us laugh and was nice for passing the time here in the lab. He was quite a character at times.
Jimmy was a very talented individual, I learned some good things working with him at Eaton. I am privilaged to have known Jim and had the opportunity to work with and learn from him.
My condolences to the family.
God Bless.
