Shawn Rodney Gregory, 28, of Vinton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday,
June 16, 2007, at his home due to an extended illness. He was born
January 19, 1979, in Columbus, Ohio, son of Marcella Adkins Gregory of Vinton, and the late Rodney Gregory II.
Shawn graduated from River Valley High School in 1997. He was formerly employed by the Valley Diagnostic Laboratory as a Courier in Ohio and W.V.
In addition to his mother, Marcella, he is survived by a sister, Amanda Gregory, Vinton; Nephew, Zack Russell of Vinton; Maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Mildred and Charles Adkins, Bidwell; Step-grandmother, Helen Gregory of Columbus; his former wife, Amy; many aunts uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Adkins; Paternal grandfather, Rodney, Gregory; Paternnal grandmother, Millie Staley.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM., Tuesday, in the Morgan Center Gospel Holiness Church with Rev. Ted Russell and Rev. Dave Stulley officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery.
