Virgil Stanley Green, 94, Cheshire, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born September 25, 1913, at Gallia County, Ohio, son of the late Dan and Ida Mae Rice Green. He was a 1933 graduate of Cadmus High School a retired self employed farmer and bus driver for the Gallia County Local Schools where he was employed for 18 years. Virgil also retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center in 1975. He married Mildred Saunders Green on October 28, 1933, at Gallipolis, and she preceded him in death on October 1, 2004.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded by a son, Raymond Green, Jan. 1, 1993 and a grandson, Adam Green, Oct 28, 1978.
Virgil was a member of Olive Methodist Church, Cadmus, Ohio.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 4, 2007 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with Pastors Steve Little and David Saunders officiating. A Eulogy will be given by Deacon Barry Plymale. Burial will follow in the Olive Cemetery.
