Delbert W. "Buddy" McElhaney, 82, Patriot, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Pt. Pleasant, WV. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was born November 19, 1925, son of the late Harry and Lilly Wray McElhaney.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M., noon, Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave., Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Richard Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery with full military graveside rites presented by the Gallia County Veterans Service Organizations. There will be no calling hours.
