Leslie Harvey Curry, 82, Bidwell, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Rock Springs Care Center, Pomeroy.
He was born June 11, 1925, in Omar, WV, son of the late Rev. Thomas Jefferson Curry and Mary Florence Wooten Curry. He was a retired coal miner and a US Navy Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by one son, Rexford Keith (Donna) Curry, Monaville, WV; two grandsons; three brothers and two sisters: Oakley Curry, Vinton; Rev. Charles (Jean) Curry, Gallipolis; Don (Barbara) Curry, Bidwell; Eileen Ferrell, Columbus; and Juanita (Jim) Hamilton, Connersville, IN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters: Levi Curry, Leonard Curry, Rhoda Knox, Margie Curry, Stella Martin, Hester Brooks, and Ada Adkins.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 12 noon, Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in the Highland Memory Gardens, Logan, WV, with Rev. Raymond Bumgarner officiating. Friends may call from 4 until 6 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton.
