My condolences to Rita's family. I realize this is probably not the correct way to contact you, but I've been doing the genealogy of my family and have always wondered about "the other Payne family". You see, I was born on Garfield Ave., in Gallipolis in 1931. I am the son of Donald Mathew and Irene Sayre Payne. Like I said, I never even realized there was another Payne family until I started doing genealogy. Would love to contact someone in your family and kinda compare notes, if you don't mind. We may be cousins??

Gene, I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you during this most difficult time. I know that each day God can give us the strength we need and make things better. I know I have not scene you in a long time but we went to school together and I consider you my friend. My prayers are with you and your family. April (Walters) Rice

I was Booch's coach, teacher and friend at North Gallia High School. She was a great kid to know. I have extreme fond memories of my years at North Gallia and Booch in particular. She was a talent and great person to know. I am sure you will miss her. Lorene

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Rita. I knew her as Booch. We went to HS together at old North Gallia. We played sports together too. She was so much fun, such an absolute "hoot" to be around. I have such fond memories of her. You are in my prayers.
