Clyde Thomas Tommy Donahue, 77, of Vinton, passed away in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, on Saturday morning, June 7, 2008.
He was a 1948 graduate of Rutland High School, and a retired Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam and Korea. In addition, he was a retired school bus driver for the Gallia County Schools and a member of the Vinton American Legion Post 161.
Clyde was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Jacksonville, Ohio, son of the late Clyde Donahue and Mildred Grover Donahue Ashcraft.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Thomas Donahue; children, Christy Lavender of Syracuse, Fauna Donahue of Vinton, Arvina (Tom Kirk) Donahue of Denver, Colo., and Scott Donahue of Vinton; three grandchildren, Raberta (Jered) Hill of Racine, Keri (Travis) Smith of Letart, Ohio, and Cynthia (Brody) Bauers of Logan, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Lavender.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Vinton Memorial Park, with Pastor Bob Powell officiating. There will be no visitation.
