Goldie Grace Geiser, 87, Thurman, formerly of the Vinton Community, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 13, 2008. She was born May 26, 1921, at Louisville, Ohio, daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Miller Sommers.
She married Pastor Elmer Geiser on May 30, 1942, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2007. While serving in the Lords Ministry with her husband she loved playing the piano, singing Gospel music and was a devoted wife and mother.
Mrs. Geiser is survived by two sons and three daughters:

Twila Bach, Jeromesville, OH
Joanne (Lee) Hoffman, Thurman, OH
Karen (Mark) Jackson, Thurman, OH
Dale (Kris) Geiser, Thurman, OH
Fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
One sister, Ruby Sommers, Louisville, Ohio
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marilyn Neuenschwander in 1983 and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the Community Christian Fellowship Church, 290 Trails End Road, Thurman. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Gallipolis, on Monday, 5:00-8:00 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to service
