Arnold “Edgar” Wyatt, 70, Bidwell, Ohio formerly of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Monday February 3, 2003 at his residence. He was born July 25, 1932 at Crossville, Tennessee son of the late Jess and Rhoda Farr Wyatt. He retired from Laird Plastics Inc., Dayton, Ohio.
Arnold married Glay Gibson April 1954 at Liberty, Indiana and she survives. To this union were born four children: Virgil (Melba) Wyatt, Vinton, Ohio; Keith Wyatt (Dave Seyer), Miamisburg, Ohio; Patricia (Charles) Monroe, Beavercreek, Ohio; Lisa Wyatt, Vinton, Ohio. Five grandchildren, Jenny and Jamie Wyatt, Amber and Phillip Monroe, Matthew Akers. Three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lezley and Wesley Bocock and one on the way. One brother, Doug (Betty) Wyatt, Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Clara (Bob) Davis, Fairborn, Ohio and Wanda (Dick) Stewart, Beavercreek, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arthur; one sister, Hazel Wyatt; and one brother Robert Wyatt.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday February 6, 2003 in the Tobias Funeral Home 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Dayton, Ohio with Pastor Pete Fee officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 2:00 P.M. Thursday until time of service. Local arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
