of Huntington went to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Charles A. Martin. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. She was born March 18, 1921, in Fort Gay, W.Va., a daughter of the late John Henry and Sara See Marcum. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Eddie Charles Walker; a son-in-law, Henry Parmenter; three brothers, Paul, Herbert and Clyde Marcum; and one sister, Hannah Keeler. Survivors include her husband, Charles K. Cox; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles James and Mary Cox of Norco, Calif., and Patrick Steven and Sharon Cox of Lesage, W.Va.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Gale Parmenter of Huntington, formerly of Alma, Ga., and Margaret and John Foley of Starke, Fla.; three grandsons, Steve Walker, Darrin Hardee and Todd Cox; a granddaughter, Penny Pelfrey; two great-grandsons, Jason Walker and Skyler Walker; six great-granddaughters, Stephanie Jarrard, Amanda Pelfrey, Courtney Arnold, Lacy Walker, Savannah Walker and Savannah Hardee; a great-great-grandson, Jaden Wroten; three great-great-granddaughters, Kaelyn Walker, Delaney Walker and Abbigale Jarrard; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maude and Kent Mitchell of California and Ruth and George Keeler of Huntington; several nieces and nephews; and a special loved one, Loretta Moore.
