SADIE L. SMITH, 95, of Prichard, W.Va., died Monday, December 22, 2003, at Wayne Continuous Care. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at the Centerville Baptist Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Larry Mullens officiating. Internment will follow in Cyrus Cemetery. She was born October 17, 1908, in Durbin, Ky., a daughter of the late Harrison and Georgia Burris Hazlett. Sadie was a homemaker and a wonderful gardener and excellent seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford N. Smith; a son-in-law, Don Booth, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lois Booth of Wayne, Janet and Hiram Rutherford of Kenova and Loretta and Gary Steele of Ceredo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sherrell and Barbara Smith of Huntington and David and Bee Smith of South Point, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Laura Drown of Cyrus, Nellie Sturm of Willow Wood, Ohio, and Patty Wallace of Barboursville. Special thanks are extended to the staff of Wayne Continuous Care for their excellent and loving care of Sadie and her family. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at the Centerville Baptist Church. Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova is in charge of the arrangements
