LOIS MARIE COMBS-BRUMFIELD, 67, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with her Lord and savior on Thursday, January 8, 2004, at 7:10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Thomas and Averill Marie Combs; brothers Thomas Combs and Kenneth Combs; and one brother-in-law, Bud Romine. She is survived by four loving sisters, Juanita Smith, Maxine Romine, Janet Filie, Charlotte Brumfield, and two brothers-in-law, Sam Smith and Pete Filie; four children, who will forever hold her in their hearts, Adonis Caldwell, Thomas Terry, Tonya Reynolds, and Joseph Brumfield, Jr.; six grandchildren, Annie Caldwell, Averill and Gypsy Reynolds, Sarah Brumfield and Joseph Brumfield, III, and Thomas Terry, Jr. She also had one great-grandchild, Gabrielle Caldwell. She also left behind two loving sons-in-law, Okie Caldwell and Frank Reynolds, and one daughter-in-law, Laura Brumfield. Special friends and family, including a niece, Kimberly Stover and friends Bob Reynolds and Regina Myers, and many others will cherish this very special little lady in their hearts forever. There will be no viewing or funeral by her last request. Any donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1336 Hal Greer Blvd. Huntington, WV 25701 in her loving memory. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Kimmey and the oncology staff on the sixth floor of St. Mary’s medical center. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is in charge of arrangements.
