Greg ... what can I say. Your life made a beautiful flame while it lasted, and I was fortunate enough to catch some of the light. I still remember many of the evenings we spent playing music on Overlook Drive. You'd be proud of Brad. The last I heard, he's still at Steel of WV. I don't know what happened to the guys that used to gather at your home when we played together, nor what became of your family except for Brad. I remember Brenda and Randy, and that you had another newborn the last time I was at your first Proctorville home who's name I cannot remember.
I still miss you Greg. Perhaps we'll meet again in the world God prepared for us. Thanks for sharing this life with me for a while. I love you man!

To Greg's Family - I am so sorry to hear of the sad news about Greg!I was once very close to him and his family, spent a lot of time hanging out at the Chinn house out in Henson Hollow, and riding horses with them (sorry- I havent seen anyone in years). May God comfort all of you and help you through this time of sorrow. And remember the words of Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5 - "While we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord...to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." You are in my prayers...

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY IS TO BE EXPRESSED TO THE CHINN FAMILY.
I HIRED INTO THE PLANT WITH GREG ON 3/27/77. WE WERE GOOD FRIENDS THROUGH WORK AS WELL AS THE UNION.
I SERVED AS RECORDING SECRETARY FOR 4 1/2 YEARS PRIOR TO RESIGNING FROM THE COMPANY IN 2001.
ALTHOUGH I LIVE IN KY 2 1/2 HRS. FROM WV I STILL KEEP UP WITH THE HUNTINGTON NEWSPAPER ONLINE.
I REALLY WAS A SHOCK AND SADDENED ME VERY MUCH TO READ ABOUT GREG'S DEATH.
HE WAS ALWAYS GOT ALONG FINE WITH EACH OTHER AND I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF HIM AS A GOOD PERSON.
I AM SURE HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED.
MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH GREG AND ALL OF THE FAMILY AT THIS TIME.
SINCERELY

I remember him in his purple Chesapeake football jersey. Although we've lost touch over the years, I have fond memories of Greg. My prayers are with you, Jada

I'm very sorry for the loss of your husband, son, and father. It doesn't seem possible for someone so young to be gone. My thoughts will be with all of you.
