Dear Rodney,
We are sorry for the loss of your mother. She was such a thoughtful and fun person. As a very young child, I was at your dad's office for a dental visit, but your mother was not there, so I ask,"Where is Honey?". That is what he called her, so I assumed that was her name. I hope you receive this note. I spoke with Ila Lee Stewart Drown today and she said that your mother's service was very nice. Tom and I moved to FL the year after he taught you at Vinson, 1966.
Your parents were so proud of you.

Rodney, I am sorry to hear about your mother. Knowing both of your parents was a true joy. I remember, when I was only 5-6 yrs old and would go to your dad's office ( that was upstairs over a bakery on Camden Rd. ) I would always look forward to getting a treat ( small rubber animal ).
I still have good memories of them both. and of you too. GOD BLESS YOU! Stanley Wood, Kenova

Dear Rodney, We so much enjoyed the friendship of both Leon and Lucille. The Pattersons were our next door neighbors when I was 3-4. Sally spoke to your Mother not long ago and it was a good time and she was upbeat.
God bless you and let his love carry you through, it is tough losing ones Mother. My Mother died just 4 years ago. It gets easier.
Peace and blessings. The Mccoys
