Cathy and Robert,
I was so sorry to hear of your mother's illness and passing. She was a vibrant spirit who, along with your dear grandmother, Alma Jane, I will never forget. Alma Jane was a huge figure in my life, and I will always remember many happy times with great laughter with her and with Ethel Lou. Cathy, I was so happy to see you at my mother's funeral a few days later. Please know that you and Robert are in my prayers.

Cathy and Robert,
I am so deeply sorry about your mother's passing. I also can't believe that she died only days before my own mother. Cathy, you have no idea how much it meant to me that you came to Mama's funeral. I can still see your clear blue eyes when you were three years old and called brocoli "trees". Robert and Cathy, your grandmother, Alma Jane, was a huge mentor in my life. I also loved your mother. Many miles separate us; please let us hold hands, in spirit, and in memory, of all of the wonderful people, your grandmother, your mother, my mother, that forged a bond between all of us. Cathy, I am so glat that you came and that I had an opportunity to hug you.
Love,
Sara

I was very saddened to hear about Ethel Lou passing away. I spoke with her 6 months ago while visiting my mother and father. We ranted and raved about sports and the upcoming elections. I always looked forward to our conversations.
My prayers and love to the family.

I knew Ethel Lou several years ago when I had a business with David Bryant. I just learned of her passing. She was a dynamic woman and will be missed in the Huntington area.
