Dear Mr. & Mrs Betts & Jeff,
I was shocked and saddened to hear the news about Todd. I had no idea that he was that sick for we have not been in touch for some time. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to your family in this time of sadness. Todd was a good guy and will be sorely missed. Any time a member of the Vinson "family" passes it is hard to take. I still remember riding skateboards in your back yard when we were younger. Those memories have stayed with me throughout my life. If there is anything that me or Shelly can do, please let us know. God bless,
Chris Watts

Mr & Mrs Betts and Jeff,
I am very saddened to hear that Todd has passed away. My mom called me this morning and shared this news.
Even though I had not seen Todd in over 20 years, I still count him as one of my friends and I am grateful for the privlege to have known him.
I will always remember Todd as one who went out of his way to include me in many actitvities after football and was one of the few guys on the team to do that and to visit me at my home. I will also remember fondly his yellow Pinto that seemed to be everywhere in Westmoreland and Huntington. I will also rememer the Sunday football games over on Magazine and near the flood wall for it was Todd who introduced me to these as well.
Once again, I am sorry for your loss. Todd was a good guy and friend and he will be missed.

Charles,
I'm sure you will not remember me. I was a friend of Tom Goodwin and liked to hang around and get in your way while you worked on your race cars. I even owned your 1958 pontiac after you got rid of it. We are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Ethel.

Mr. And Mrs. Betts and Family,
At Mountain Enterprises, I ran the scales and dispatched the trucks. I absolutely LOVED Todd. He was a great man with a heart of gold and was such an inspiration to me. He encouraged me in my decision to attend Marshall and get my BSN in Nursing. He was always reminding me that the ant moves the mountain one grain of sand at a time. He made all of us laugh and had a smile for everyone. I will always remember and love him. He constantly had wonderful things to say about his entire family and was so VERY PROUD of all of you. And Mrs. Betts... Todd used to tell me of how special you made each Christmas and how much fun you always were.
I pray God gives each of you comfort at this sad time in your lives, but please know that many, many people loved Todd.

I was both shocked & saddened to hear that Todd had passed. We had lost touch over the years but it seemed like his name would always come up when I would come to Huntington for a visit, especially when Rick Ross & I would get together or I took a drive down Magazine Ave.
To Mr. & Mrs Betts, I'm sorry you've lost a son. My thoughts & prayers are with you & the rest of the family.
It's strange how distant memories become so vivid when a memory is all that's left. For whatever reason, all I can think of right now is riding around in that bright yellow Ford Pinto with Freebird cranked up on the radio.
Goodbye my friend, my you Rest in Peace.

Dear Betts' family,
I was quite shocked to hear the tragic news that Todd had passed away. I had no idea that he was so sick. Life is short. Unfortunately, it is times like these that brings us to reality to this fact. I will miss him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
Sincerely,
