1941 - 2008
Ronald Lee Lloyd, a loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 66 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington on Monday March 10th, 2008. He was born May 21st, 1941 in Kenova, WV. He was a member of the Westmoreland Church of Christ, where he was previously an elder. He served in the United States Navy as a radar man, was member of American Legion Post 93 and was member of Kiwanis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burgess and Anna Lee Lloyd and a brother, Burgess Jr... He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda; son Chris and daughter in law Tammy; daughter Cheri and son-in law Dale Rose; grandchildren Abigail Lloyd, Mike and Drew Tomlin, Amy Kolb; Sydney and Ellie Rose; great grandchildren Jackson Tomlin and Dylan Kolb; one sister Ramona McCollister; three brothers Birt, Larry and Kenny and several nieces and nephews and many Friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Reverend Ike Nicholson at Westmoreland Church of Christ on Thursday March 13th at 1pm. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery Friends may call at Reger Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12th from 6-8 pm
A special thanks to Dr. Todd Gress and staff; Dr. Gerrit Kimmey and Staff; Dr. Panos Ignatiadis and staff; St. Marys Oncology unit staff and ICU staff; Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice staff. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donation be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, 3100 Staunton Road.
