To my 'Forever Friend' Donna Jean, Through the years we have remained the best of friends. I always looked forward to receiving your letters. We went through a lot ups and downs together in our lives. Having each other to vent to always helped. I will miss your sweet spirit; always doing and helping others. You will not be forgotten. Dear Mark and Jeff, Just want you to know how heart broken I am. I loved your Mom dearly. She was a loving, caring and meant what she said kind of gal. Just know that she is in a place that we all want to go someday. Love, Brenda Davis Lafon

My deepest sympathy to all the family. Donna and I were great friends at HHS in the fifties. We stayed in touch for awhile but of course time finally separated us and we grew apart. This past May I worked in the election and to my great delight Donna came in to vote and we hugged each other and got to talk a few minutes. She offered her condolences to me over the death of my Granddaughter who had been killed in a tragic car accident in March of this year. I am so very thankful we got to see each other one more time. I had no idea she was not well at that time. I am truly saddened by her passing and will keep all of you in my prayers. God Bless Carol Lee Bolling

How Blessed I was to have met Donna in Las Colinas, Texas. Donna loved her family and was so happy to be near her grandchildren when she came to visit. She was thoughtful and warm and helped to brighten my day. I will miss her and pray that she is welcomed into Heaven with a shower of light. Marie Zeiler

Donna and I had been in contact since she came back to the area. She had shared many burdens with me . Last heard from her a year or so ago. I lived at 22nd St. W. for years. Our sons were Gene and Curt McLeod. I loved Donna and am saddened by her death. Please accept my condolences and I pray you are at peace with your lives. I wondered how Jeff is doing, and you too Mark. I'll never forget your mother. Truly, Jane McLeod

Jeff, I'm sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I remember her well when we were kids and you lived next door to us on Stanley. My mother, Phyllis, and Donna were good friends at that time. She always spoke very fondly of her.
