Jean Elaine Pelfrey Lykins, 79, of Huntington, widow of Billy Lykins, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Monday at the Tri State Worship Center, 802 Solida Rd., South Point, Ohio, by Rev. Terry L. Waggoner. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. She was born March 4, 1930 in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Basil and Ida May Ray Pelfrey. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tri State Worship Center. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Pauline Christian and two brothers Donald Pelfrey and Olyn Perlfrey. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law Tina and Jesse Kelley and Melanie and Steve Simmons; five grandchildren Allan Blake, Alicia Clayborn, Michael Simmons, Stephanie and Steve Jordan; two great grandchildren Blake and Morgan Clayborn; a sister Betty Ruth Kidd; her faithful companion Tiger and her best friend Pauline Lykins.
