1952 - 2009
 David W. Marshall, 57, of Huntington, passed away Friday August 7, 2009 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Truman Maynard. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born March 2, 1952, in Wayne County, WV a son of the late Mennis and Ruby Marie Hutchison Marshall. David retired after 22 years of service from Owens-Illinois. He was Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Marshall. Survivors include his wife of 28 years Judy C. Turner Marshall; twin boys David Andrew Marshall of Ashland, KY and Anthony Wayne Marshall of Huntington; a daughter and son in law Kimberly Sue and Gary Woods of Virginia; grandson Jesse Woods and Granddaughter Caitlin Woods; two brothers and a sister in law James and Brenda Marshall and Joseph Marshall all of Huntington; four sisters and two brothers in law Wanda Porter and Carolyn Wheeler both of Kenova, WV and Sandy and Glenn Hatfield and Rebecca and Mike Johnson all of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure that many reading this will not remember me or my family but we lived on Prices Creek many years ago. Some of my fondest memories are of the times I spent at the Marshall home, playing, eating, drinking moms tea and listening to many in the family play and sing together. I'm sorry the years have put so much distance between us and it took David's passing for me to tell all of you how much joy David and others in the Marshall family gave tome. For this I am thankful for having known all of you. May God be with each and every one of you. v/r. Rich
