 Mr. Jewell Earl Belcher, 78, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W. Va. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Princeton, W. Va. by Rev. Robert Belcher. Burial will follow. He was born July 31, 1931 in Hot Springs, Arkansas a son of the late Mason Earl and Dolly Newfelt Belcher. He was a retired brick mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Glyndle Belcher and Bill Belcher and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Carl and Edith Bish. Survivors include his wife of 60 years Mary Katherine Patsy Belcher, two sons and a daughter-in-law Jerry and Elizabeth Belcher of Norwood, North Carolina and Teddy Ray Belcher of Huntington, six grandchildren Jennifer Simpson, Carl Mason Belcher, Jerry Paul Simpson, Philip Conn, Scott Conn and Elizabeth Belcher, seven great grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in-law Delbert and Sally Belcher of Oklahoma, Gail and Jean Belcher of Princeton, W. Va. and Robert and Jan Belcher of Summersville, Virginia, a sister Elizabeth Belcher of Princeton, W. Va. and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 1:30 pm Monday at the cemetery.
