1931 - 2009
 William A. King, 78, of Huntington, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church by Rev. Patrick Elliott. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.
William was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the WV National Guard. He retired with 36 years from the Greyhound Bus Lines and he was a member of Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church
William was born on August 25, 1931 in Huntington, WV the son of the late; Asa Herman and Myrtle Rose King
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Virginia Whaley King
Two daughters and so in law: Lori and Sam Schaffer and Beth King all of Huntington
Two grandsons: Joseph King and Nathan Butcher
Five sisters: Jean Johnson and Lucy Dick of Huntington, Patsy Riehm of Seabring, FL., Betty Lee of Boynton, FL., and Juanita Cantrell of Marysville, OH.
Friends may call from 6-8 pm Thursday at the Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church, 1600 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV
Contributions may be made to Hospice House of Huntington or to Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church.

MRS. KING, LORI AND BETH, I AM SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. MR KING WAS A VERY SPECIAL GENTLEMAN AND STRONG CHRISTIAN. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED BY NOT ONLY HIS FAMILY BUT ALL THOSE THAT KNEW HIM.
