Tonight is Christmas Eve,I sure do miss My Brother Steve he really did love Christmas.I miss my morning calls at 3;am. I still wake up waiting for Steve to call. But I know he is in a better place, He is with the Angels and his Lord Jesus and Family that went before him.I LOVE MY BIG BROTHER.I know he is watching over all of us.our Family really appreciate everyone's condolences.

Stephanie I am sorry for your loss of your Uncle Steve and I couldn't be there for you as you were for my Father-in-law. It was really nice to have met him this last Sept. before his passing, after all the great things you had always said about him. Just remeber now he is in no more pain and rejoicing about it and we will all meet again someday.

well it sure is a sad day in burlington for all who knew my friend , yes he was my best friend that anytime i was sad or when someone hurt my feelings my buddy always made me feel better he would just say the right thing .hed say you don't need them people you got me . we will surely miss him blowing his horn at 5am in the morning or the calls we will all miss at 4 and 5 am ,but one thing i believe is that my friend went to see his lord and savoir and there will be no more suffering for him hes at peace with his brother bill and im so sure that he didnt want to leave his mom and all his friends and he had a lot of them but we know that hes in heaven smiling down on us saying bubba you need to go to church GODS asking where you are .thats what he always told me .well steve you are in heaven now smiling down on his sweet mother saying mom its ok now im not suffering anymore .steve until i see you again you keep on smiling cause it was all worth it . GOD has you now but oh how we cry for you i guess we're selfish cause we wanted you to stay longer but i know you remembered to tell the angels what i always told you . lisa and celena you had a good dad and he was my best friend and i miss him so bad but now hes with the angels singing and he wants us to go too so remember he was a friend to many many people and he was loved

Stephen Ray Steve Meade, 57 of South Point, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on November, 6 2009 at the Community Hospice Center of Ashland, Ky. He was born on May 1st 1952 in Maher, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Hermen Earl ,one sister Ruby Juanita, one brother William Earl and one grandson Christopher DeShawn. He is survived by his mother Thelma Naomi Albright of South Point, Ohio; three sisters Pearl Fitzpatrick of Martin County, Ky, Jenny Kirk (Glenn) of Lexington, Ky, Barbara Bradley (Grubb) of Louisa, Ky; four brothers, Joe and Johnny of South Point, Ohio, Randy (Joyce) of Williamsburg, VA, Ricky (Juanita) of Lexington, Ky and two daughters Lisa Hester of Huntington and Celena Meade of South Point; four grandchildren Amanda Hester, Zachary and Dalton Daniels and Kayley Meade; as well as a host of special family, friends and loved ones. Steve was a member of Burlington United Methodist Church. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Scott Mann; burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. Friends may send condolences at www.timeformemory.com/reger.
