Believe it or not, you and John what through my mind Thanksgiving--I don't know if it was because I was thinking family gatherings of the past or what. So you can imagine my shock when I saw that obit. Its so sad that in this world of instant acccess we've lost touch with family . I'd love to see you sometime!!! I'm keeping you and yours family in my prayers. Please tell Toni hello.

My association with John was our occasional car pool going to week end training with the Air National Guard. John's name was most respected with the Guard. He was also on letter carrier for years. God bless you John, you've gone to a better place.

John was one of the best to serve, work, fly with, and to be trained by. He alway had a laugh, a joke and a smile ,never sweating the hard stuff. RIP John.

So sorry to hear about John. I knew John for many years and served along side him in the WVa ANG. We had many conversations about old cars, racing, airplanes and family. John always had a big smile and such a wonderful attitude. I, over the past years before my civilian job retirement, would run into John on the job in Huntington occasionally while working on business telephone systems. Please know that your family are in our prayers for our Lord to comfort you in this time of sorrow and loss. GOD BLESS.
