Mildred  EarlsMILDRED EARLS, 81, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born April 13, 1928, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Ray and Mary Fuller. She was raised by her loving grandparents, the late William and Pearl Taylor. She was retired from the Cabell County Board of Education. Her husband, John Earls Sr., preceded her in death; along with two sons, John Earls Jr. and Robert Earls; two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Jan Morrison and husband Mike; six grandchildren, John Michael Earls, Ronda Earls Miller, Mark Earls, Matthew Earls, Stacey Earls Cassity and Ryan Sarver; five great-grandchildren; and a very special loving nephew, Richard Casey. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Doris Ross, Lorena Burd, Linda Wood, Debbie White and Ruby Davis for taking such wonderful care of Mildred in such a difficult time in her life. A special thanks is also given to Cora Lykins for the time you spend helping families find special caregivers to those in need. You are a true angel on Earth! To all the staff at the Hospice House of Huntington, our deepest thanks goes out to each of you for allowing Mildred to pass in peace and join her loved ones waiting for her in Heaven. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va. Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. I will never forget the times that I got to spend with you as I was growing up. I always looked at you as my favorite Aunt and your memory will be with me forever. My heart goes out to Jan for the lost of a loving mother.
