Mr. Noel is remembered as a southern gentleman who was soft spoken and well respected. His service to our country and his example as a dedicated husband, father and Christian man will be remembered. My family and I send our condolences to Mrs. Noel, Gayle and Ronald and the entire Noel family. God comfort you in this time of loss.

I will always remember Walter Noel as a man who had time to show a kid how to patch a bicycle tire, change a car tire and perform mechanical wonders on an engine. I will always have fond memories of his "fillin' station' in Lenore.

Alice and family, I send my heart-felt sympathy to you. I will miss Walter's warm greetings, handshake and friendly smile at church. What a wonderful man of God we had in our midst and how deeply he will be missed by our church family. I pray that you will feel the Lord's love and comforting embrace around you during this time. I'm praying for you.

I can remember Mr. Noel as a little boy when we always stopped for gas. He was a gentle person and always noticed and spoke to me, even when I was little. God bless Miss Alice and the family.
My dad and mom were Glen and Effie (Brewer) Shrewsbury of Laurel Creek.

No words can describe the great loss that the Noel family feels. We can take comfort in knowing that even though Walt cannot come to us, we can go to him and rejoice the wonderful family reunion in the presence of God. To Alice and their family our thoughts and prayers are with you.

to Alice and the family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bro. Walter has made the journey we all have to make.. He was a true Christian and always showed the love of the Lord, wherever he was. I will always have the good memories of having him and Alice in our home in Chattaroy, when they were visiting in the area around Christmas. You could tell he loved the Lord. may God give this loving family much comfort at this time.

I have only been going to Jefferson Ave. Church of God for only about four years now. But the first time I really got to meet Walter was when Ray Taylor asked me if I would like to become an usher and we had an usher's meeting. I had only been going there for about 4-7 months. I could tell that this man Walter was a man of God. He made me feel welcome in there with the other men durning that meeting. About a year later after serving as an usher he told me what a good job as an usher I was doing and every time I seen him that is what came back in my mind about this man (him telling me that). That made me feel really good. That is what is so special about Jefferson Ave. Church of God because of people like Walter Noel that are members there. There true love for Christ. Thank you Walter.

I am proud to be Walt's son-in-law. I honestly do not believe I could ever have a greater second earthly father than to have Walt. I thank him for all the good advice and great memories he gave me through all the years that I have known him. I thank him for giving his daughter Gayle to me in marriage. If they were ever giving out trophies for a "Great Father-in-law, Walt would walk away with them all. Walt is now with the Lord, we have lost a great soldier here but, Heaven has gain a greater saint.
His son,
Ron (tubby) Finley
