1958 - 2010
 Johnny Kevin Meade, 52, of South Point, Ohio went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 3, 2010 at his home. Johnny was born June 9, 1958 at Naugatuck, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father Herman Earl Meade, one sister Ruby Juanita and two brothers William Earl and Stephen Ray Steve . Johnny is survived by two sons Johnny Kevin Douglas Meade and and Paul L. Johnson as well as one daughter Wendi (Nade) Johnson of Chesapeake, Ohio. His mother Thelma Naomi Albright of South Point, survives him as well as three sisters, Pearl Fitzpatrick of Tomahawk, Ky, Jenny Kirk (Glenn) of Lexington, Ky, Barbara Bradley (Steve) of Louisa, Ky, and three brothers, Joe Meade of South Point, Ohio, Randy (Joyce) Meade, of Williamsburg, Va., and Ricky (Juanita) Meade of Lexington, Ky., and a host of loving nieces, nephews , family and friends. Johnny attended Burlington United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Scott Mann; burial will follow in Burlington Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.

I knew Johnny as a brother , a father, and a friend, for many years.
My heart aches for Paul Lee and Nade. Loosing a parent is something one never thinks of having to deal with. Lost both of mine while they were to young and I hate you two have to endure this pain.
My heart also goes out to Joe for one shouold not have to loose a sibling. And to Johnnys mom, well God bless her and help her , for no one should have to endure loosing a child.
Please know you are all in my thoughts prayers and heart.
May your grief only last as long as you need it too.

my friend is gone ,and the broken hearts are all around we were just learning to deal with the fact we had lost steve and the lord sent for you !shocked is what we all are .i just figure that the lord needed you to come and deal with brother steve cause you knew what a catbird he was and you could calm him down.until we see you guys again take care of each other .jeeter i loved you and you were (MY FRIEND)! you were there to tell me its ok when steve passed but whos gonna be here to tell me things are gonna be alright now ? until i see you again johnny joe jeeter i will do my best to watch after your mom cause her little heart is broke once again ,just ask the lord to put his hand on her and help her at this sad sad time for her .we love you .goodbye for now friend!!!
