1937 - 2010
 Clifford Ray Mechanic, 73 of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday in St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Jerry Chapman, burial will follow in Crook Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Clifford was born July 31, 1937 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late Frank and Opal Shaver Mechanic; he was a retired plumbing supervisor with the Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Leah Marie Mechanic and one sister Evelyn Kazee. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary L. Mechanic, three sons, Randy Keith Mechanic, Clifford Patrick (Christy) Mechanic and Mark Anthony Mechanic, all of Huntington; one daughter, Shawna Waller of Chesapeake, OH; six grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by a brother, John (Cathy) Mechanic of Mississippi, two sisters, Billie Talmage of Alabama, and Helen Keating of Tennessee; eight sisters in law; two brothers in law and several nieces and nephews and a special friend Allen Clark. We were Clifford's C.B. Radio friends from years ago. We are so sorry to here of his passing. May God give you and your children and family comfort in the days ahead.

Hello I lived need door to Clifford and his mother as a child. I know Mary too. I am so sad about his passing. My heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers. Clifford and his mother was so good to me and my brothers and sisters. He let us play ball in his side yard. Mary, You and your lovely husband will always be a happy part of my childhood. Cliff will be truely missed.
