 Ruby Brown, 82, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Friday, June 24, 2011, at St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Matt. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born August 10, 1928 in Wayne County, W. Va. a daughter of the late John Dillon and Mary Jane Marcum. She was a homemaker and a Christian of the Baptist Faith. Ruby enjoyed fishing with her husband and special friends Elva and Von Maynard, John and Frances Ruff and Dallas Hannah. Survivors include her loving husband of over 57 years, Wesley Brown, several nieces and nephews including a special niece Coetta Hannah, special friends Barbara Kirk, Doug Borders, James and Jewel Hall and Carl Taylor and a host of friends. Ruby, I loved coming to the fence everytime I visited my grandparents to talk to you and Wes. I will truly miss you! You were a wonderful woman. Now, you are in heaven with my grandma and you two are having a wonderful time and I can only imagine. Don't worry about Wes because I'll make sure that my grandpa and Wes are taken care of. I love you Ruby and I will truly miss you!
