 IVALEE FAYE CYRUS EARLS, 80, Ceredo, W.Va., was called home by her Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward and Armilda Lowe Cyrus, brothers Lemmie Lowell and Charles Wallace Cyrus, sister Lucille, husband Billy Denford Earls and son Hobert Edward Earls, and her second husband, Pearley Anderson Chatterton. She is survived by her brother Raymond Edsell Cyrus; grandchildren Kimberly Dawn Cunningham of Brunswick, Ohio and Mark Edward Earls (Chelsea) of Priest River, Idaho; great-grandchildren Meghan Noel Cunningham of Parkersburg, W.Va., Olivia Joyce and Oliver Cyrus Earls of Priest River, Idaho; step-son Bill Chatterton (Tammi) and step-grandchildren Amanda Chatterton Edwards and Joe Chatterton; several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was cared for in the home by Donna Shull and cousin Joyce Stephens Jones. She was employed at Corbin, Ltd., for seven years in the late 1960's to early 1970's. Following her years at Corbin, she spent her time as a homemaker where she also cared for her mother and later her son and brother. She enjoyed working puzzles, knitting basket liners and table cloths, Southern Gospel music and Marshall football. Funeral service will be held at Reger Funeral Chapel, Tuesday January 3, 2012, at 2 p.m. with Elgie "Junior" Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington, W.Va. Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. I remember going to Billy and Ivalee's house many times. I always remember her laugh. My mom, Nell, talks about her all the time and missed seeing and talking to her but I know Eddie's death took a toll on her. May she have peace. If someone could contact me through my email that would be great.
