DeGraff Street Superintendent Robert "Bob" M. Kuntz, 57, of DeGraff, died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003, in his home.
He was born in Bellefontaine on Dec. 5, 1945, a son of Betty Louise Chamberlain Kuntz, who survives in Bellefontaine and the late Floyd Rudolf Kuntz.
On Aug. 27, 1988, he married the former Janet "Cricket" Furrow in North Lewisburg, and she survives, along with sons, Tony R. Kuntz of Bellefontaine, and Brian D. Eaggleston of Phoenix; daughters, Dorothy D. (Robert) Smith of Norh Lewisburg and Deanna L. (Wayne) Prater of Bellefontaine; brothers, Paul (Melinda) Kuntz of Bellefontaine and Joe Kuntz of Canton; sisters, Carol (Terry) Cloninger of Texas, Shirley (Dean) Handley of Kenton and Linda Kuntz of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, DeeDee and Katlyn Smith and Jeremy, Michael and Randy Prater; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR and spending time with family.
The Rev. Lynn Mercer will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Interment is in Greenwood-Union Cemetery in DeGraff.
