Edna Frances Roberts, 91, of DeGraff, died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2003, in her home.
She was born in Lucasville on March 23, 1912, a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Chestnut Allison. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Charles Allison Jr., Earl Allsion and Cecil Allison.
On Dec. 27, 1930, she married Kline D. "Jack" Roberts in Winchester, Ind., and he preceded her in death in July 1969.
Survivors include daughers, Lola Kennedy of DeGraff and Connie (Gene) Roeser of Brookville; son, William M. Roberts of Jackson Cneter; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Mees of Bellefontaine and Mary Allen of Quincy; and several nieces and nephews.
She and her husband owned and operated Roberts News Stand and Antique Popcorn Wagon. She was a homemaker and cleaned homes for others.
A member of the Mt. Tabor Church of God, she taught Sunday school for 20 years.
Pastor Kerry Snapp and Brother William Price conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Tabor Church of God, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Interment is in Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson. Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff handled arrangements.
