Karol, Ernie, Vic, Steve, and Kurt: Wally, and the whole Klingelhofer family, was an integral part of my youth. From his involvement with sports (from Farm Team Baseball to Varsity Football) to the VFW’s Voice of Democracy speech contest to the role of employer at the Quincy Foundry, Wally was always there. It is my firm belief that we are shaped by those around us in our youth. Wally’s desire to make things happen, to win, and to produce a quality product was never in question. While we have lost touch over the years and the miles between us, the Klingelhofer family will always be a part of me. May God comfort you in this time of loss. John Kerr, Jr.
