Robert Myron Strayer, 75, of DeGraff, died at 1:13 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, in the emergency room at Mary Rutan Hospital.
The Dayton native was born April 28, 1928, a son of the late C. Myron and Helen O'Dell Strayer.
He married Phyllis Joy Nogle on May 4, 1946, in Covington, Ky. and she survives.
He was a bus driver for the Dayton Transit.
Other survivers include two daughters, Vicki (Michael) Keaton of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Judy (James) Skinner of Hickory Corners, Mich.; one granddaughter, Crystal Keaton and one grandson, Jeff Waters; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Helen L. (Jess) Hamilton, of San Antonio, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Keaton, Jr. and one sister, Rowena M. Dresback.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Beverly Avers of the Rosewood United Meyhodist Church officiating.
Interment is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
