Ella Louise Coy, 62, of DeGraff, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003 at her residence.
Born in Champaign County on Dec. 11, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Ruth Alice Wiant Jackson.
On Sept. 10, 1956, in Sidney, she married Herman E. Coy, who preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1999.
A homemaker, she worked at Logan Acres for 20 years.
Survivers include one son, Frank Coy of Quincy; one daughter, Laurie (Ron) Smith of Jackson Center; four grandchildren, Tracy and Tom Coy and Adam and Avery Smith; two sisters, Arlene (John) Voke of Urbana and Phyllis (Robert) Shafer of DeGraff; two brothers, Dewayne (Louise) Jackson of Brooksville, Fla., and Frank (Darlene) Jackson of Urbana. Two brothers are deceaced, Donald and Doyle Jackson.
The family will receive friends at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. William Turner will conduct services at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment is in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
