Dortha Jean Geyer Niece, 80, of Tucson, Ariz., died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Carondelet Hospise in Tucson.
She was born in Lakeview, OH on Dec. 24, 1922, a daughter of the late C.G. "Jack" and Naomi Houchin Geyer. A brother, Robert Dean Geyer, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Niece of Tucson; three sons, Jeff and Kurt Niece, both of Tucson, and Rick (Sheree) Niece of Clarksville, Ark.; brother, Richard (Sally)Geyer of Lima; brothers-in-law, Melvin (Elizabeth) Niece of Lakeview and Gary (Peg) Niece of Michigan; sister-in-law, LeVelva Chandler of Galion; and grandchildren, Shawn and Justin of Tucson.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff. Memorial services were also conducted in Tucson.
Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund in her name at the University of the Ozarks, 415 N. College Ave., Clarksville, AK 72830, in care of the Advancement Office.
