Bertha Marie Donald, 79, of Quincy, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
The Quincy native was born March 15, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Cora Ledrick Archer.
On Sept. 23, 1945, she married Stanley Herbert Donald in DeGraff, and he preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1986.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Wives and Widows of American Prisoners of War.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Georgia) Donald of Camden, Tenn., and Tim Donald of Quincy; four granddaughters, Ruth (Tim) Gearhart, Anita (Marty) Couey, Robin (Allen) Spychalski and Mary (Barry) Petreman; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Marabelle Wert, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today, February 16th at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Fueneral Home in DeGraff, where funeral services begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Walt Mansfield officiates and burial is in Springhills Cemetery.
