Ruby Julia 'Jewel' Finfrock, 80, of Bellefontaine and formerly of Quincy, died Monday, March 15, 2004, in Campbell House.
She was born in Sidney on Jan. 15, 1924, a daughter of the late Gilbert D. and Mima Wilson Burton.
On March 3, 1940, she married Floyd Dean 'Finny' Finfrock in Sidney and he died May 13, 1986. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Georgia Finfrock; a brother, William Burton; and two sister, Lillie Tippin and Mary McFarlin.
Survivors include two sons, William "Bill" (Carol) Finfrock of DeGraff and Fredrick (Virginia) Finfrock of Bellevue, Mich.; two daughters, Sharon (Larry) Worsham of Quincy and Jackie (Fred) Penrod of DeGraff; a brother, Cleon Burton of Bucyrus; a sister, Mildred Leasure of Bellefontaine; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The Revs. Lloyd McClurg and Chad Wilson conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy.
