Ralph E. Whitehead, 85, of DeGraff, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in Logan Acres.
He was born in Pataskala on April 5, 1919, a son of the late Paul and Ethel Whitehead. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, W.K., George, Bob, Joe, Charles and Harry Whiteheaad.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Post 1184 in Lancaster.
He worked as a supervisor in tunnel construction.
The Rev. Terry Washburn will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home in DeGraff, where friends may call two hours prior. Interment is in Fairview Cemetery in Quincy.
