Claudine A. Howell Wical Pulfer, 89, of DeGraff, died at 8:55 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004 at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine, OH.
She was born on May 18, 1915 in Maplewood, OH a daughter of the late Merle and Cloa Clayton Howell.
On January 8, 1933 she married Arlington Wical in Port Jefferson, OH and he died Oct. 16, 1965. She then married Roger Pulfer on January 14, 1968 in Washington Township, Bellefontaine, and he died December 16, 1999.
A member of First Church of God, Bellefontaine, she is survived by three daughters; Lynda (William "Bub") Jackson of Lakeview, Nathalea (Charles) Armentrout of Lebanon and Rhonda (David) Ritter of Sidney, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Sue Wical and a son, Jack Wical, three brothers; Conray, Thoburn and Stanley Howell and three sisters; Arlene Smith, Plumah Nicholson and Syvilla Bodenmiller.
The family will receive friends at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff on Monday, August 2, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the funeral home with Rev. Ron Irick officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson, OH.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
