Logan County native Richard "Dick" Randolph Shultz, 67, of Ft. Myers, Fla., died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004.
Born May 5, 1937, in Logansville, he was the first son of the late Dale Shultz and Marguerite Naugle Shultz.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Peggy Born Shultz of Ft. Myers; two daughters, Alonna M. "Lonni" Shultz of Cape Coral, Fla., and Debra J. (Scott) Shultz Robinson of North Palm Beach, Fla.; one son, Ricky D. (Connie) Shultz of DeGraff; one brother, Tony (Joyce) Shultz of Winter Springs, Fla; one sister, Shelley (David) Roby of Russells Point; five grandchildren, Nikki, Jessica, Ricky II, Dustin and Connor; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Kay; and one brother, Harlan Ned Shultz.
A graduate of DeGraff High School, he was employed for many years at Detroit Aluminum Brass in Bellefontaine and the Pall Corportation in Ft. Myers.
A memorial service begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
