Constance Lou (Connie) Harshbarger Click for Condolences      Printable Version

Constance Lou "Connie" Lattimer Harshbarger, 52, of West Liberty, died at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 4, 1951, in Sidney, a daughter of the late Don D. Lattimer and Juanita Carman Lattimer, who survives in West Liberty.

Also surviving are four daughter, Lindsay (Andy) Lingrell and Charlotte (Todd) McGuire, both of Urbana, Wendy Shaffer of Piqua and Jennifer (Winston) Hall of Waverly; one brother, Don Lattimer Jr. of West Liberty; four sisters, Carolyn Carlson of Tipp City, Donna Lattimer, Bonnie Peterson and Teresa Yoder, all of West Liberty; and 12 grandchildren, Holdon, Sophia, Haydon, Harley, Madison, Reese, Jacob, Samantha, Lucas, Myles, Kylie and Abbey.

A 1970 graduate of Graham High School, she was a homemaker and former member of Constance Chapter 78, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, canning, playing horse shoes, crafts, sewing, mushroom hunting, listening and dancing to music and raising her children.

Calling hours are from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, where services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Mike Stewart officiating.

The body will be cremated following the service and ashes will be buried in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff, at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and Tricare Hospice.

Just wanted to drop a line to Lindsay and let her know that I was thinking about her during this time. It's times like this that we never want to face ourselves especially when we face them on a daily basis. Take care and know that my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
